The Air Filter Regulator Lubricator (FRL) is used to provide clean air at a fixed pressure and, if required, lubricate to ensure proper operation of the pneumatic components and extend their service life. Filters, regulators, and lubricators can be purchased separately or as a set.

Regulator: Adjusts and controls the system's air pressure to ensure that the down-line components do not exceed their maximum working pressure. This is the second step in the FRL system.
