Modularity & Integration: A defining feature of the OSP series, especially the pneumatic models, is the three-side dovetail mounting slots on the cylinder profile .  This allows modular components like linear guides, valves, and magnetic switches to be directly attached to the cylinder itself .  This solves installation challenges in space-constrained applications and offers immense flexibility.

High Performance & Long Life: These cylinders are built for durability and high performance.  The OSP-P series boasts a service life of up to 8,000 km .  They can operate at very high speeds up to 30 m/s , while special low-speed versions with unique grease lubrication ensure smooth motion from 0.005 to 0.2 m/s .  The use of a high-tech polymer inner sealing band ensures optimal sealing with very low friction.

Rigidity and Load Capacity: The optimized cylinder profile offers maximum stiffness with minimum weight .  The OSP-L series, for instance, can handle high moments and lateral loads, with a maximum force of up to 7,500 N and torque up to 400 Nm.

Versatility for Harsh Environments: The series offers special versions to suit demanding conditions.  These include Stainless Steel versions for wet environments, ATEX versions for potentially explosive atmospheres, Clean Room versions for sensitive environments, and Low-Temperature versions operating down to -40°C.
